What sets your books apart from all others?  Is it your individual style, your subject matter, etc., how is it different?  What makes your books unique?  What can we expect to gain or enjoy or understand from reading your literary creations? How and/or why is your work important?

At present, the mindset is that poetry is hard and it is not for everyone. I hope I will start a change in that thought process through my work. My poetry is simple. My readers can relate to it. In each of my books, I try to give a different flavour. Each poem is unique and will resonate in the minds of the readers. What makes my work unique is that it is simple and each reader can relate to it in their life. My work is important as it will inspire and help my readers grow.

What authors inspired you most and how so?  What do you admire about each one?

I admire many authors. Robin Sharma for his unique way of presentation. He advocates a few principles and he has it bang on. I have attended his session, and he is really good. Poets like Sarojini Naidu, Rudyard Kipling, William Wordsworth, Rabindranath Tagore, Hindi poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, for their unique style of poetry that resonates in my mind for long after.

How’d you come about discovery of your writing talent, gift or ability?

I started writing in school. There were inter-school competitions, and no one wanted to participate in the writing competitions. So, it started from there. I started writing in full swing from June 2014.

Is writing for you synonymous with living and breathing, or just something you do as a hobby, and how so and why?

Writing for me is like a spiritual connection. It just flows, and I know when something is ready to be shared with the world. I know it will positively impact people.

What do you hope to accomplish with your literary creations?  What changes or enlightenment do you want to bring about in your reader if any?

My work will inspire people. Every poem/quote will leave a mark and resonate in the minds of the readers, if they are willing to evolve.

What’s the greatest compliment that you ever received regarding your literary accomplishments and what did this remark do for you, how did it transform your life or your writing?

My greatest compliment was when a seven-year-old child recited my poem “Angels” in her school and got a prize for it. Her parents are not fluent in English and this child recited my poem without any help. This helped me reinforce my foundation that I want to keep my work simple, so that everyone can relate to it.

What have you sacrificed, if anything, to be a writer, or to write as you do?  What have you gained from writing, how has it rewarded you personally?

I have learnt to better manage my time to be a writer. Writing has helped me heal. It has helped me observe nature, be more sensitive to situations and reactions around me. It has expanded my horizon and helped me reach more people. Writing has helped me evolve.
