“Riding Standing Up”, written by: Sparrow Spaulding, tells the story of Spaulding’s, intimate view of traumatic childhood experiences.
In a somewhat relative narrative, Sparrow was kidnapped by her biological father at the age of 3 and he hid her in the Deep South for over a year. The uncertainty of Sparrow’s well-being drove her mom into a mental meltdown. Sparrow was mentally impacted as well.
She discusses the traumatic experience and life after that in her memoir, “Riding Standing Up”.
