DIY Halloween Crafts On A Budget: Part 4

Okay, admittedly this is a bit of a weird one, but not unheard of as Snoop Dogg is a Household Name.   19 Crimes Snoop Dogg Wines are one of my favorite and just in case you haven’t seen the movie Bones or even Day Shift – both featuring Snoop Dogg, this concept isn’t too far gone.

Bust out some newspaper, tissue paper, paint, beads, fabric and floral accents to make this craft.  It’s decoupage, so mix water and glue in a bowl and use a paint brush to glue down your layers.  I did start with the fangs and drip of blood first of course, just to see the cool effect.

I absolutely love African-American Vampire Movies: Queen of the Damned with Aaliyah, the latest movie Sinners with Michael B. Jordan, (Check out: https://poeticmc.medium.com/brace-yourself-michael-b-923d1eb50f1d),  Blade with Wesley Snipes, Vampire in Brooklyn with Eddie Murphy and Angela Bassett to name a few.

Next, decoupage the tissue paper of your choice.  I believe I picked up this tissue paper from Five Below last Christmas.

I used a piece of fabric scrap my Mom gave me to accent the top of the bottle as a cover, a fake rose to give it a romantic effect, and some red puff paint for a blood accent.  I then used some old red beads and a charm I had on hand with some plastic chord to create a dangly charm accent to give it some posh.  I also used some gold foil I had left over in my craft stash to make it pop.

Wah-lah!  I had to wait for the paint and decoupaged glue to dry before adding the beaded charm accent, but here it is in full effect.  I decided to do this craft to add some soul to my kitchen dinner table as for Halloween this year I wanted to represent the theme of Halloween Romance, which I will premier in DIY Halloween Crafts On A Budget: Part 5.  The key to this craft is to utilize what you have on hand, Upcycle!
