What sets your books apart from all others?
I honestly feel what makes my books stand apart from all others is the spirit flowing through them; something about intimate and unhindered truth that makes a reader want to embrace your message. I have the gift of taking a truth and making it universal. I write about what people do not want to talk about but need to. The way I write prepares readers to be at a better place with themselves and others. People will gain insight to the unseen realities of the soul. They will gain soulful reminders of themselves and others, in regards to what is most important and how valuable they are, as well as the people they love.
How or why is your work important?
My work is important because people need to be reminded of how critically important it is to be concerned about our children’s hearts, minds, bodies and souls. Also, people will be reminded of the value of God’s Word in our lives. We must go back to point ‘A’ if we want to master point ‘Z’. People are not who they are by chance. Their introduction to sexuality is critical to their human development and how they face the world.
Who is your target market, who should be reading your books?
Those who have been sexually assaulted, experienced or are experiencing domestic violence, suffering with PTSD, self-image issues, those who are parent-less, struggling to identify themselves and struggling with their relationship with God, also those who love and want to better understand those who have been victimized by these traumas. Professionals and Christian leaders should also read my books because it will generate empathy on a higher level.
What are your genres of choice and why?
I write fiction, nonfiction and memoirs. All these genres at different times are a means to reveal truths that have to be exposed in different and powerful ways. I’ve used fiction to protect innocent people as I revealed a truth about molestation. I’ve used nonfiction to reveal the raw truth of a journey of dysfunctional realities. And, memoir was used to share my journey of nonstop healing.
Is writing for you synonymous with living and breathing, or just something you do as a hobby, and how so and why?
I am actually a messenger. Being an author allows me to get my message out and to keep documentation of its reality.
How is your writing controversial, profound or mind boggling, or how would you describe it?
LOL! My writing is kind of twisted from the standpoint the truths I reveal may or may not be wanted, but are much needed. It brings duality to the forefront causing us to feel deeply within ourselves.
What do you hope to accomplish with your literary creation? What change or enlightenment do you want to bring about in your reader if any?
My writing is to quicken, encourage, awaken, enlighten, provoke and prepare the soul to accept real truths about themselves and others. I was molested at the age of three. As an adult, God revealed to me the inner struggle a child experiences during and after sexual abuse. I am an avenue for spiritual renewal and healing. Along with my published works, I offer freely a message that is critical today for all mankind. It is not by chance we live in a world filled with anger, fear and murderous reactions towards one another. We suffer because of Mixed Signal Syndrome – lacking the ability to choose best because of mixed messages from people we should trust. This too is a symptom of sexual abuse.

The feedback is amazing! What I write really helps people come to a better place in themselves. I was once told by someone that after they read my book they were never the same and that was a good thing. She hugged me.
